“Before we go back to organic agriculture in this country, somebody must decide which 50 million Americans we are going to let starve or go hungry” – Earl Butz

Today , one of my amazing co-workers noticed that I started to take a interest in organic farming ( I guess because I am always pestering him with questions on how he maintains his garden so well lol 🙂 ). He dropped this article by my desk to review, and the first thing that stood out to me, of course, was the title ” Organic farming ‘could be the key to feeding the world as global warming takes hold'”  – Geoffrey Lean . I mean, mostly because I have heard time and time again from politicians and other public figures that, as the population grows there will soon not be enough food to nourish the billions of people on earth. Which is odd to me, seeing as though the earth is plentiful with plants that are edible and their is an ample amount of land available for everyone to grow their own food, if they have the tools necessary ……. any who .

What really jumped out at me the most was a statement that was made by the Secretary of US Agriculture , Earl Butz : “Before we go back to organic agriculture in this country, somebody must decide which 50 million Americans we are going to let starve or go hungry”…..wow……. (my jaw literally dropped as I mouthed wooowww silently behind my desk lol picture that in your mind for a second) . So when ‘they’ make frivolous statements like, “soon there wont be enough food to feed our growing population”, I guess ‘they’ really mean ‘they’ll’ discover a way to take control of the food supply ( hmm like making it illegal to grow your own food) and reduce the production of genetically modified food so that a percent of the population starve and die out to help aid in population control ….I could just be overthinking  . #growbeforeitsillegal
